The annual Frosh Night Out, when all freshmen are locked in the gym for four hours at the end of their first week of high school, proved to be a “good time.”
Hosted by the senior class, more than 50 seniors showed off their spirit by dressing in colorful and crazy outfits for the Aug. 13 event. The seniors helped the about 250 freshmen get more excited about school with dancing, singing, and games.
Freshman response was a positive one to the night, with them reporting that they believed the four-hour time length was just enough to meet new friends, bond with their grade and have a fun time.
Freshman Cassidy Krych said, ” All of the seniors that helped out were very spirited and made the whole night a lot of fun.”
Freshman Steven Sommer said, “It was really fun, and it was awesome how everyone participated. The small group activities gave us the ability to meet new people, amd the big group games were just as much fun.”
“Frosh Night Out made it easy to meet people and was a good time,” Freshman Jake McCarver added.
